Lockdown to get tighter, the Spanish government have announced a halt to all non-essential workers.

Spain´s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Saturday made it clear the country will go into strict total lockdown for a further 14 days, extended the quarantine period until 12th April, which is Easter Sunday. All 47 million Spaniards will need to stay at home, apart from any workers that are needed in essential sectors only. This is a bid to slow down and try to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Pedro Sánchez explained in a televised statement, that he recognized that the measures were “extraordinarily tough." This decision needed to be made for the safety of everyone.
