In fact, Spain is still showing signs of being as popular as ever among lifestyle buyers, with the Costa Blanca being very high up amongst the most searched-for destinations on TheMoveChannel.com in the fourth quarter of 2016.
As well as a continued interest from Brits looking to move to a warmer climate, many buyers from the US and other non EU countries have recognised that Spanish Property is an attractive investment for either buy-to-let or capital growth opportunities. It has never been such a favourable time to buy apartments in Spain as it is now - nine years after the Spanish property bubble burst. You can buy apartments and villas on the Costa Blanca at some amazing prices. It is really good business to buy a property in Spain for either short breaks; long-stay winter holidays or - indeed - for living a healthy life. In the last nine or ten years, the Spanish property prices have fallen to almost 50% of the original price, but have now begun to rise again. In the last months of 2016, prices on the Costa Blanca on average by no less than 8%, and there are no obstacles to prevent overseas buyers from buying a Spanish property.
